The story of the guest house U Hanky ​​began in 1987, when the Hríbiks decided to start a business in the field of tourism. Since then they have welcomed hundreds of Slovak and foreign guests, many of whom like to return to this pleasant family guest house every year. The Hríbiks couple was joined by their daughter Dorotka, who works hard with her parents to provide honest services of high quality and exceptional cuisine. The guest house is situated just a few meters from the ski resort SKI Telgárt, on the borderline between three national parks: Slovak Paradise, Low Tatras and Muráň plain.

Accommodation

The guest house provides year-round accommodation in several nicely furnished rooms, each having its own attached bathroom, wifi connection and the TV.

Gastronomy

The guest house is specifically concerned about fine home-made cuisine. When cooking the meals, they look for inspiration in seasonal products from local suppliers and from its own garden. The dishes are original. Moreover, excellent desserts and lemonades are part of the offer. If you are not staying at the guest house, but you would like to come for a delicious dinner, call 24 hours in advance and book a reservation in the restaurant. The capacity of the restaurant is 30 seats, in the warmer months there is also a summer terrace.

Activities in the vicinity

The vicinity of the guest house provides several great opportunities to spend time with your loved ones. The natural wealth of the three national parks attracts its visitors due to beautiful hiking trails. Among the most visited are the ascent to “Kráľova hoľa”, “Murásky hrad” (Muráň castle), Ondrejisko, a walk along the Vogl’s path or a number of beautiful hiking trails in the Slovak Paradise. In winter, the area is a bastion for winter sports such as skiing in the resort SKI Telgárt, alpine skiing and cross-country skiing.
