They offer accommodation all year round in one of the most beautiful parts of Horehronie - Čierny Balog. You will gain new strength and energy in the mountain environment of a picturesque village below “Urbanov vrch” (Urban’s hill). Beautiful nature, clean air and rich opportunities for relaxation are a guarantee for a quality holiday in any season. Accommodation in the cottages of Urban's sisters in Čierny Balog is an ideal place for families with children. You do not have to compromise when staying with us - each cottage is furnished in a different style, so you can choose the one in which you fancy the most.
Why are we Urban's sisters?
First of the sisters is the dancing fairy of Horehronie - soft and gentle. So is the first cottage. It encompasses a relaxed world full of well-being. A combination of natural materials, handicrafts, earthy colours with a touch of old complemented by modern charm. This cottage is right for those who like to wrap themselves in a blanket and enjoy every moment drinking a warm tea and fire cracking.
The other sister hid the courage of a man. She was fearless and always protected her sisters. The second cottage will introduce you to her manly style complemented by metal elements, solid wood and industrial touch softened by warm fur coats. This combination ensures a timeless design, comfort and a great holiday.
The third of the sisters did not spend much time with her sisters. She wandered around the mountains and could recognize all animal species in the forest. Enter the third hut and inhale the scent of the forest. The design of the cottage is adapted for you to feel like sitting in nature. Forest animals are waiting in the children’s rooms to protect the little ones during the night.
Cottages
The cottages are located directly opposing the ski slope of the Ski centre “Urbanov vrch”. Clean and exceptionally beautiful nature around them is a guarantee of relaxation as well as many experiences.
The newly built two-storey cottages offer a truly comfortable accommodation. On the upper floor there is a rest area with three bedrooms with fine custom-made beds. The bottom floor consists of a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with a TV, an oven and a comfortable sitting area. There is also a bathroom and a toilet.
Free internet access is available in the cottage.
Total capacity of one cottage: 6 people (6 double beds + cot)
Upper floor:
- 3 bedrooms, 2 double beds in each bedroom with mattresses of good quality
- clean bed linen available, the possibility to add a cot in the largest bedroom
Bottom floor:
- Fully equipped kitchen (stove, dishwasher, kettle, table, 6 chairs, set of pots, plates, cutlery, mugs and cups, small kitchen utensils…)
