Deep is the well of ideas that the artist and ceramicist Janka Schwarzbacherová transforms into her ceramic modelled creations. Her work is mainly a reflection of walks in nature and blooming meadows, from which she draws when creating her original ceramic flowers. Mrs. Schwarzbacherová's workshop in Horná Lehota smells of clay, from which she creates wild poppies, bellflowers or daisies, which bloom to full beauty thanks to added glaze. She also anchors surrounding nature into the clay with via ceramic butterflies, owls or bats from the Bystrá Cave (“Bystrianska jaskyňa). In addition to many ceramic decorations, Ms. Schwarzbacherová's work includes hand-modelled aroma lamps, candlesticks and money boxes, too.
