Hand-modelled decorative ceramics from the workshop of Eva Huňová
Modeled by hands or turned on a pottery wheel. Ceramics have been a part of our households for centuries. The potter Eva Huňová also succumbed to the formability of clay, that lets her to be carried away by her own imagination in her workshop in the village of Valaská in Horehronie. This helps to create handmade ceramic jewellery, flowers, tables, animal figurines or soap dish or candleholders, which render any home colours and, at the same time, serve practically. It also preserves pieces of Horehronie in the clay by creating ceramic reliefs of unique cultural monuments and magical places from the region, such as Chamko’s barn or Ľupčiansky castle.
