Calvary in Predajná
Peaceful place for filling up a new energy
The first calvary in Predajná was built on the same place as today in 1861. The calvary was later reconstructed and it has become favourite place of pilgramage for believers. Originally, there was a church on the top of the calvary during years 1872 – 1873. In 1927. the church was consecrated to the Virgin Mary of the Seven Sorrows, which was in that year declared to be the patroness of Slovakia.
