The educational trail “From the Rimavica spring to the Ipeľ spring”
Not only does the educational trail “From the Rimavica spring to the Ipeľ spring” connect the springs of rivers “Rimavica” and “Ipeľ”, but also two regions - Horehronie and Podpoľanie, with the village Lom nad Rimavicou in between.
The trail will take you through several points of interest:

Among the still preserved wooden houses, you will discover a blacksmith's forge, but also a well which reminds of the filmmaking history of the village.

Just outside the village, you will find a shelter where families with children will both relax and learn something new about the local fauna and flora.

The cycling map placed right next to the shelter displays more options for wandering around the Lom nad Rimavicou village.

The trail will take you to Čierěž, where you will be enchanted by breathtaking views of the Low and High Tatras mountain ridges.

Not only couples, but everyone who comes here, will enjoy the views a little bit longer seated on the lovers' bench.

During the rest, you can test your knowledge of geography and name the individual hills in the panorama. Less skilled geographists will find help on the educational board placed just next to the lovers' bench.
- Walking further along the ridge, you will encounter the cross in the memorial site “Polanská” commemorating a plane accident. Here the trail connects to the route to the Ipeľ spring. Where else should you stop for refreshment if not right next to the Ipeľ river.
