Margarétkovo is a small shop with a huge soul. It started its existence in the centre of the village of Šumiac in the Horehronie region in 2013, when the eldest of the Marget sisters began shaping her dream into reality. Margarétkovo offers a wide range of healthy products from organic, gluten-free, or lactose-free vegan products to specific medicinal and nutritional supplements from different parts of the world. You can also find organic products and natural cosmetics in the shop.

In Margarétkovo you can enjoy sips of a selection of coffee or buy packages of blend and single-origin coffees from the world-renowned Slovak roastery EBENICA COFFEE, with which the Marget sisters have been cooperating since the very beginning of the business operation. You can also find a selection of beers from the most awarded Slovak craft brewery Kaltenecker, Belgian hot chocolate LYRA, herbal teas, seasonal Margarétkovo punch, hot drinks, fruity vegan "lattes", in the summer you can refresh yourself with homemade Margarétkovo lemonades or chilled coffee drinks.

Margarétkovo is split into a shop and a cosy café. In summer, Margarétkovo expands to include an outdoor terrace on Šumiac Square, which serves as a portal to hiking trails and a cycling path to the iconic King's Hill.

An integral part of Margarétkovo is the MARGETKA brand, under which a young artist from Šumiac - Dominika Margetová - works. Margetka represents a refreshing and authentic local design from the Low Tatras, Horehronie, and Šumiac. When you stop by Margarétkovo, you can leave with an original gift or a souvenir in the form of a magnet, a badge, a postcard, a risograph, a photograph, a piece of jewellery, or a themed T-shirt, a scarf, a hat, a cap, a beanie and other merch product inspired by the fairytale microcosm of the fairy-tale world under the King's Hill.

Margarétkovo is a small cultural and social booth where different people from different generations and (sub)cultures meet.
