The label of a Regional product Horehronie is a benchmark for quality that is used to mark crafts, products and services originating in the Horehronie region.
One of the oldest crafts ever has also won over Mr. Ján Giertli. He is the only one in the region who deals with the entire process of producing artistic and utilitarian objects, from the smelting of raw iron, through forging to the final production. He finds inspiration not only in shepherding or woodworking but also in the historical value of various fighting tools and objects from Celtic culture. Forged in a blazing fire, his collection includes shepherd's crooks, axes, forged jewellery, and Celtic knives. The uniqueness is not only engraved in his work but also in the very blacksmith's craft that he preserves.
