The love for the Horehronie region and its traditions didn't take long. In the skilful hands of a historical textile restorer, small pieces began to appear, which will remind us of the beauty, nobility, and richness of the Horehronie region folk costumes. It was the bonnet - the cap, which was one of the inherent parts of women's costume and was a symbol of a married woman who embroidered it while still an unmarried maiden. The uniqueness of this costume component was recreated as faithfully as possible by Mrs. Iveta Haringová in its scaled-down design, which is distinguished by cross-stitch embroidery ornaments and a typical tip, characteristic of bonnets from the villages of Polomka and Závadka from the Horné Horehronie region. Thus, even at a distance, they will remind you mysteriously of a young maiden sitting in her chamber and diligently embroidering a bonnet, which will turn into a lifelong union on her head.
